Q: What services do you offer at Time for Tranquillity? 

A: At Time for Tranquillity, I offer a variety of holistic therapies to support your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. My services include Crystal Therapy, Reiki, Crystal Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

 

Q: How do I book a session? 

A: Get in touch by phone or email.  I offer a range of appointment times to accommodate your schedule as far as practicably possible.

 

Q: How long does a typical session last? 

A: Most sessions last between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the therapy you choose. However, I will discuss your needs during your discovery call and consultation.

 

Q: How do I know which therapy is right for me? 

A: If you’re unsure which therapy would benefit you most, feel free to reach out for a discovery call. I’ll discuss your current challenges and goals to determine which therapy or combination of therapies will best support your healing journey.

 

Q: What can I expect during my first session? 

A: During your first session, we will begin with a short consultation to understand your needs and goals. You will then experience the therapy in a comfortable, peaceful environment.

 

Q: What should I wear for my session? 

A: I recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully. There’s no need to remove any clothing during our sessions, as all therapies are non-invasive.  For Crystal and Reiki sessions, I will ask you to remove your shoes, watch, glasses and non-essential jewellery whilst your session is carried out.

 

Q: How many sessions will I need? 

A: The number of sessions varies based on your goals and the therapy(ies) being undertaken. Some clients experience significant benefits from just one session, while others prefer to schedule regular sessions for ongoing support and healing.

Q: How do I know if my chakras need balancing? 

A: Common signs of imbalanced chakras include emotional instability, chronic stress, feeling stuck in life, or experiencing physical symptoms like headaches or fatigue.

Q: What can I expect during a Crystal Chakra Balancing session? 

A: During the session, I’ll intuitively place crystals appropriate for you on the energy centres along your body that correspond to your chakras and guide healing energy to be sent where it’s needed most. You may feel a sense of warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation as the energy flows and blockages clear.

Q: How often should I have my chakras balanced? 

A: The frequency depends on your lifestyle, emotional state, and personal goals. Some clients benefit from regular sessions every few weeks, while others come for chakra balancing when they feel out of alignment.

Q: What should I expect during a crystal therapy session? 

A: I work intuitively with my guides, with a strong focus on energetic safety.  Crystal Therapy is extremely versatile and treatment sessions can vary depending on your needs, preferences and where you are in your personal healing journey.  Initial sessions will always begin gently as I gather an awareness of your energetic field and any blockages that may need to be addressed before progressing to more advanced techniques, if you're ready and want to explore them.  I may place selected crystals on or around your body to help balance your energy and address any specific physical concerns; guide you through meditations and tailored guided visualisations; explore crystal card guidance; cord release work, guiding you through releasing energetic connections that are no longer serving your highest good; past life regression therapy to explore repeating negative life patterns and unexplained fears, etc; and more.  You will remain fully clothed and in a relaxed state, either lying down or seated, as the crystals work to harmonise your wellbeing. 

Q: What will I feel during a Reiki session? 

A: Everyone’s experience is different, but many clients report feeling warmth, tingling sensations, deep relaxation, or emotional release. Some people even fall asleep during the session, which is perfectly normal.

Q: Can Reiki help with physical pain? 

A: Reiki is often used to promote relaxation and relieve tension that may contribute to physical pain. While it’s not a substitute for medical treatment, it can be a valuable complement to other forms of healing.

Q: How does Crystal Reiki differ from regular Reiki? 

A: In a Crystal Reiki session, I combine traditional Reiki energy healing with the use of crystals to enhance the flow of energy. The crystals help to amplify, direct, and balance the energy during the session.

Q: How do I know which crystals will be used in my Crystal Reiki session? 

A: I will intuitively select crystals based on your specific energetic needs, goals, and the areas of your life or health that need attention. You can also share your personal preferences if you have any.

Q: What issues can Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) help me with? 

A: EFT can help with a wide range of emotional and physical issues, including anxiety, stress, trauma, phobias, addictions and pain – anything that brings up unwanted emotions. It’s especially effective for addressing emotional blocks and limiting beliefs.

Q: How do I perform EFT? 

A: I will guide you through the process during our sessions. It involves tapping on specific meridian acupressure points on your body while you focus on a specific issue or emotion.  I will also guide you through elements of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, as appropriate, during your EFT sessions.

Q: How many EFT sessions will I need? 

A: The number of sessions varies depending on the depth and complexity of the issue(s) you’re working on. Some clients experience significant relief in just one session, while others may need several sessions to fully address long-standing issues.

Q: What does Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) help with?

A: MBCT can help you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, particularly when you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed. By practicing mindfulness, you can break the cycle of negative thinking and improve your mental health.

Q: How does MBCT help with anxiety and depression? 

A: MBCT helps you notice the early signs of anxiety or depression and respond to them in a mindful way, rather than getting caught up in negative thought patterns. Over time, this practice can reduce the frequency and intensity of these episodes.

 

Q: Can I practice EFT or mindfulness on my own after the sessions? 

A: Yes! After an EFT or MBCT session, I can show you techniques to practice on your own at home. This helps you continue your healing and maintain balance between sessions.

 

Q: Are your services a substitute for medical treatment?

A: No, my services are complementary therapies meant to support your overall well-being. They are not a replacement for medical treatment. Always consult with your healthcare provider for medical conditions.

 

Q: Do you offer online or remote sessions? 

A: Yes, I offer online sessions for EFT, and distant treatments for Crystal Therapy and Reiki. You can enjoy the benefits of healing from the comfort of your home.

 

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? 

A: I accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal.

 

Q: Do you offer gift vouchers? 

A: Yes, I offer gift vouchers for therapy treatments.  They make perfect gifts for loved ones who could benefit from relaxation, healing, or emotional support.

 

Q: What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment? 

A: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please give me at least 72 hours' notice to avoid any cancellation fees.  I understand that life happens, and I’ll do my best to accommodate changes in your schedule, in line with my Cancellation Policy.
